Japonism and Alvar Aalto is an comprehensive examination of the work of Alvar Aalto, as well as a specific focus on connections between his work and Japanese Architecture. The lecture will explain the long term trends in Scandinavian modernism, and tea house design and its relation to larger works of the international style.
