On February 5th, The Annual AIA Japan (AIAJ) President Club Meeting was held via zoom again this year due to rapid spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus. The total cases reached 95,453 throughout Japan on February 5th.

The meeting was an AIAJ`s friendly tradition for giving advice from the past presidents to the newly elected president. During the meeting, 2022 AIAJ President Tomoaki Tanaka and eight former AIAJ presidents discussed AIA Japan and AIA International`s 2022 schedule, concerns about the architectural organizations in Japan, facilitating International Associate member engagement, supporting emerging professionals, and etc.

Tomoaki said he would take advice and promised that if the situation improved, he would arrange the face to face Presidents’ Club meeting.
